We are a non-profit organization committed to a vision of bettering the spiritual, emotional, mental & physical well being of First Nations peoples, fostering the way of Friendship & understanding between people.

The Skookum Jim Folklore Show is one of the longest-running Aboriginal music and arts showcases in Canada. In its 44th year, the Folklore Show is a bedrock of talent, highlighting First Nation arts and culture. On February 17, 2018, the Folklore Show, coordinated by Skookum Jim Friendship Centre will, once again, provide a platform for burgeoning and established First Nation artists and musicians to perform for local audiences. With a dynamic lineup including youth and Elder Keish awards, dance, hip hop, and traditional contemporary folk/rock, this year’s Folklore Show will have something for everyone!
