NWT Post-Secondary Program
The Training and Student Financial Services provides post-secondary financial assistance to Northwest Territories and Nunavut students, who have lived in the Yukon for no less than one year. These students may be eligible to receive funding for living allowance, books, and tuition. This program is funded through AANDC and is limited.

Deadline for applications:
- Fall enrollment- July 15
- Winter enrollment – November 15
- Spring enrollment – March 1
Aboriginal Skills and Employment Training Strategy (ASETS)
This program is available for urban Aboriginal peoples who are not eligible for funding through a Yukon First Nation.
ASETS assists in providing training opportunities designed to provide entry into employment or opportunity for upward mobility within current employment. This program is funded through CYFN.
Office Hours are Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Women of Wisdom Program
The Women of Wisdom is a long standing program that is funded by the Women’s Directorate, with a purpose of preventing violence against Aboriginal women. It is a very welcoming environment and all Aboriginal women are encouraged to join. We will be having bi-weekly sessions throughout the summer this year, instead of our Paddling program. We also have changed from Tues eve’s to Thursdays and group still is from 6:00pm-8:30pm, running until March 7, 2019. We have lots of exciting activities planned for the year!
