NWT Post-Secondary Program
NWT Post-Secondary Student Support Program
The NWT Program is aimed to support and fund students who are originally from the NWT and currently are residents of the Yukon Territory.
The PSSSP provides non-repayable financial support to First Nations students who are registered under the Indian Act, aiding them in obtaining a recognized post-secondary education credential as guided by First Nations priorities.
“Please note that the funding offered is not intended to cover all expenses while attending school. You may need to supplement your funding through part-time work, student loans, scholarships, bursaries, or a Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP). Planning ahead is crucial to ensure you have enough resources to complete your education.” – FAQs from the AANDC website
