The program funds courses necessary for employment (ie. First Aid, Food Safe, WHMIS, etc.), as well as academic or continuing education courses through a post-secondary institution. Additionally, the program has funding for work and winter clothing and gear.
Application forms for the ISETS program can be picked up in person from the Front Desk at the Skookum Jim Friendship Centre during working hours. Any questions can be directed to the Education and Training Coordinator.
This program is available for urban Aboriginal peoples who are not eligible for funding through a Yukon First Nation.
