SJFC is prepared to provide travel, and accommodations for selected youth aged 14 – 24 from Yukon Territory to participate in this opportunity. The only costs that will be your responsibility would be the extra baggage fees, personal keep sakes, and personal food.

The age restrictions set by the Gathering Our Voices Conference is 14 - 24. Anyone under the age of 18 will be chaperoned by SJFC staff.

This is not a requirement although, we hope that the selected youth will be confident enough to participate and contribute both physically and verbally in the workshops.

Acknowledgments:

I understand that I will be responsible for purchasing my own food, keep sakes, and personal shopping.
I understand that the flights and accommodation will be purchased by SJFC. Although if I choose to take more than a carry on - I will be responsible for paying the additional baggage fees.
I understand that all participants are expected to behave in a respectful manner and maintain sobriety during the conference dates.
I understand that I will need to get a Criminal Record check before the end of January 2025. This is to ensure the safety of all participants and is required by the GOV conference hosts.
